I began my real estate career in 2008 when foreclosures and short sales were prevalent in Michigan. People asked if I would starve because the market was so "bad."
I immediately took training classes on short sales and foreclosures and became certified as a SFR (short sale and foreclosure resource). I was able to help people avoid foreclosure because they were approved to short sell their house.
I am a patient person which is important because "short sale" is an oxymoron. At the time short sales could take at least 6 months to a year depending on the banks involved. My perseverance and "never give up" attitude also enabled me to be strong for my clients and get the job done.
Flash forward to 2015 and now we are experiencing low inventory with higher sales prices. Patience, perseverance and commitment to my buyer clients ensures that I make a difference in their lives. I work with a limited number of qualified buyers at one time so that every client can be assured that I am committed to them.
For sellers it means doing what most other agent don’t do to promote a house to as many prospective buyers as possible. Internet marketing is so important. I write a blog about the house, the neighborhood, the local area, things to do in that town and so much more to draw prospective buyers to your home. Internet marketing is so much more than just listing your house on the top websites.
