Downtown Brighton promotes a healthy and active lifestyle for all. Children love the huge Imagination Station playground in downtown Brighton. Sidewalks are abundant in the downtown Brighton area. You will see people walking their dogs or running along the path. The “Tridge” boardwalk alongside the Mill Pond is a wonderful way to stroll and see ducks, turtles and more that make the Mill Pond their home. The Farmers’ Market which is open Saturday mornings May thru October is a great way to purchase healthy produce from local growers. I enjoy shopping at the Vitamin Company in downtown Brighton as they offer healthy food including gluten-free items that are hard to find in your traditional grocery stores.
The numerous hanging baskets of flowers during the spring and summer beautify downtown Brighton and make it special.
Downtown Brighton restaurants are plentiful and a good variety including Italian, Japanese and many different choices to enjoy a really good burger. Enjoy dessert at the Yum Yum Tree or Jack’s Custard.
Shopping in Downtown Brighton is fun. You will find gift stores, jewelry stores, clothing stores and my son’s favorite “Done In Extreme” where Ed has the best selection of scooters and scooter accessories. There is something for everyone in downtown Brighton.
